| HISTORY | |
| The Shoshone Bullfrog Gold
Mining Company originally owned and recorded the five parcels of land
beginning January 5 and April 16, 1906.
In 1987, the property was leased, to the New York based "Angst" company who intended to mine the entire area for gold. Angst created a modern gold mining operation on nearby land. They intended to work Bullfrog but their assets were seized by the federal government prior to beginning any mining on the Bullfrog property. The Bullfrog lease was assumed by L.A.C. Minerals. Barrick Mining Co. then took over the lease before any mining commenced on the Bullfrog property. Barrick did establish a mining operation on the Montgomery Shosone mine located less than one mile from Bullfrog. Barrick left the area before any activity on Bullfrog corporation's property. |
